Project 365 Catch up, General Stuff ...

Good Morning! Sitting here having my Coffee [_]p trying to think of what to write today, as it has been a few days since my last post.

Nothing too exciting has gone on, I've spent most of the last few days laying in bed with my left leg elevated in a drug fog. Since my surgery, I can really feel the pain and goings on with my ankle, which is good, it means I have blood flowing down to it, but at same time, it's painful! So my foot stayed swollen for about 2 days, Dr's office called, they said no worries should go down, it has. The beautiful bruise I'm sporting on my right thigh, is now down past my knee, it's crazy! But again normal, they had trouble getting it to stop bleeding after surgery and then of course didn't help when I blew it out again 4 hours later.

I'm hoping I can get up and about the next few days, I have Madi's 8th Birthday Party to get ready for on Saturday. I need to go buy party decor, cake mix, and tye dye kit and T-shirts. Tye Dye Cake, this should be fun and or nerve racking for this 'persnickety' person! I've googled for a recipe, they all seem to based off of one person's blog post, Omnomicon's Rainbow Cake. I read them all and chose to go with the simpler speaking (typed) directions, but will be doubling the recipe as suggested by Omnonicon. I found the recipe also @ Tye Dye Cake Recipe. So this should be interesting. I'm excited! We will be tye dying t-shirts at her Party, that should really be some fun!
So on with Project 365 ....

:: Day 9 :: Madi's Birthday Invitations
I designed Madi's invitations in PaintShop Pro and printed them up using Print Master Gold 18. I put them on PostCards, since that's what I had handy around the house.

:: Day 10 :: My View
As I mentioned above, I spent several days laying in bed with my foot elevated, this is the wonderful view I had. I know, I must have the fugliest feet in the world! I dislike feet, esp mine, they all gross me out! Except for newborn Babies, theirs are cute for a bit =]

:: Day 11 :: Madi makes Honor Roll
Way to go Baby!! Madi is in 2nd grade and this is her first time being able to get this type award. All the schools (on her 4th school) she has attended up to now don't start the 'Honor Roll" til 2nd grade. We are very proud of her!!

Plans for today? More taking it easy, suppose to do that for awhile more, but thinking maybe I'll have Miranda pick up cake ingredients for me tonight, and tomorrow I will attempt to make the cake, so I'm not rushing on Friday, just in case I screw it up. Then Friday morning I will attempt to venture out and pick up the rest of the goodies for the party. Yes I know, kinda last minute. I could have someone else do it for me, but I'd rather do this myself.

Hope ya'll have a great Hump Day!
